you might not be able to get artifact points from your legion mates, but they can send you artifacts.

Although it's not a horrible idea. Not the direct value of course, but a limited share off planets from the legion tab. Say a 5% bonus? To keep the math easy, let's say Scimitar has an artifact world shared with me and it has 100 production on it. He would still get the full 100, but I would get 5 as well. Might be a way to encourage more planet sharing. Thoughts?

i like it. it would be more of an incentive to hand out decent planets, not just ones you dont want.
