Could the RNG possibly be so mean as to give you Advanced Civilization Ruins on a gas or plasma world when using a reality transfuser? Also, would it be better to use the transfuser first or the Phasic chain ionizer? Thanks |

1. yes 2. not sure, as the pool of what you can get may / may not be skewed by the target being a gas planet like the temporary effects are. |

"No, the ruins would only appear on planets that have notable artifact resources." So... you're safe. Interestingly enough, after this, I asked "So does this mean your chances of getting rings are increased by using the Transfuser on a gas planet," using the logic that three options rather than four would up the odds for the remaining Transfuser effects (small moons, large moons, rings), but he said no. So I assume it just ups your chances for small and/or large moons. Quote: Also, would it be better to use the transfuser first or the Phasic chain ionizer? |

Pongoloid, Thanks so much for this info. Straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. I was holding off using the transfuser but now feel much better going ahead with my plan. Transfuser first than ionizer = awesome research world ![]() |

A 15x to 17x Plasma is more than ''awesome" enough for a research planet. Imho waste of a transfuser, far better to use it on an artifact planet. I can't help thinking you'll wish later that you had saved it for a better planet. But hey, your money, your game. |

Yeah, they are expensive, and better used on artifact planets. A +10% space increase on Very Massive or Colossal artifact world is worth a lot more than +20% production or space on a Plasma. Unless you have virtually limitless GP burning a hole in your pocket, it's not the wisest investment. Just because I tend to make poor decisions when I have the GP available doesn't mean you should, Leviii. |
