Ok so I just colonized a nice crystal planet that was unoccupied but when I went to build my buildings, it said that there wasn't enough space on the planet. I was really confused as I didn't steal this planet from anyone else, it was unoccupied. I am really unsure of how this happened because of the experience that I've had, when a planet is abandoned, all the buildings and artifacts are destroyed. How could this have happened??

Also on a bit of a side note, there was a 100% upgraded hyperforge factory on the planet and I don't have +12s researched yet. I know that this is a very good building to have on a planet so I'm unsure of demolishing it. Any suggestions as to what to do with it?? Keep in mind that I probably won't have +12 researched for a while.

definitly dont demolish . and it can happen when a player is banned i do believe.

Ok thanks for the replies guys. The banning makes more sense than some sort of abandoning glitch. And I will follow your advice and I will not demolish the building. Though it will be sitting there for some time :p

It happens when a player resets. I've had it a few times myself. Quite nice.
