Ship design bonus?

 Do ship designs have any bonus'? I only have one or two and it doesn't look like, so I'm guessing the answer is "No"...
I was just curious if anyone thought of having each ship design have a bonus and limit to be able to change your ship design ever 48/72 hours/week sort of thing... _________________ [CENTER]  [/CENTER] |

other than the dark smuggler which gives 600 invasion attack there is no bonus related to ship design.
