This is weird. I have failed 2 invasions (90% chance) in a row on this planet. Planet is under blockade by a Kulgox entity. Owner is an inactive <r20 (more than a month now), in fact, their whole legion is inactive. There's only 25 def from a starting pop structure. I know about the newbie protection but what can be the issue here?

You're unlucky.

You might want to know, I'm pretty sure blockades go away upon invasion, if that's what you were interested in.

@Ferrus: I know the blockade goes away when planet is invaded.

@TB: Have no experience with failing 90% chance invasions back-to-back, so just wanna check with the community. Always thought failing 90% once is rare but twice on the same planet? :o

So rare in fact that it will only happen about 1/100 tries! (Hurray probability)

Finally did it on the 3rd try. Was gonna rage quit if it fails again.

Now why didn't I get a green badge? Should have gotten one per wiki page explaining the badges. It's only the 1st planet taken from this owner.

Congrats on the planet.

You only get a green badge if you invade a planet that you haven't attempted an invasion on within the past week, or if you invade the same planet within the same week but held by a different owner... I think. I'm actually only sure about the first part

Maybe I misunderstood what the wiki says. I thought the 7 day window applies in the case of a successful invasion and then to different planets owned by the same owner.

The wiki says "invasion," which I believe means "invasion attempt," regardless of the outcome (success or failure). Otherwise, I'd have a lot more green badges from the first-attempt-fail/second-attempt-success thing by now... :(

You are quite Incorrect, otherwise footballs would have no value. The reason you are not getting the badge the second time has to do with invading a planet from the same player within a week. You can invade the same planet everyday and get green badges (hence footballs) but if you take a second (or the same) planet back from 1 player within a week, you will not get a green badge.

Right, that's what I meant by the second part. If you invade the same planet multiple times within a week, and it's held by a different player each time, you can get a green badge each time.

Regarding the first part, I meant if you try for the planet again under identical conditions (i.e. same owner within the 7-day period), you cannot get a badge after your first attempt.

dunno wth your smoking, but 90% is a 1/10 chance. not 1/100. time to go back to school.

The guy failed twice at 90%
1/10 * 1/10 = 1/100

I have a really wired planet, it isn't football, yet it has 8 scans including me... And doesn't seem to ever get a few days without a take... So, I could try that planet for greens?
