How to know if Research Data Archive is working?

I just installed 5 Research Data Archive's on 5 different planets but I can't tell if they are working. My research cap has not changed even after refreshing the game. Will it show up later or does it remain as invisible help?

If you click on the Research Tab and mouse over the Production Details, you can see the details of the research storage increase.

Ahh, gotcha. I was only checking the upper right corner. Had not noticed that hover spot yet. Thanks.
