Absolutely dumb question, I know. BUT, how can I rank faster than I already am? I've only gained about 80 ranks in 4+ months, and a lot of people have gained...I dunno, maybe 200 in the same span.

Add Engineers. 10x rank in max energy, or about 13x if you do not use a neural interface (means you can kill more NPCs per rank as well). Have at least 25x rank in attack. Then, kill NPCs for hours on-end until you are satisfied with what you have, or become tired.

Any way to do this with missions?

It'll take a LOT of energy to rank up quickly through missions; missions usually give a 2:1 - 2.5:1 exp to energy ratio, compared to the 3:1 - 5:1 given by NPCs.

For missions, you may need about 19x with a neural and a RSL, variant on the mission you are doing. Much much more difficult to do, and it will take quite a bit of time to prepare.

Thanks :) And I'm assuming mission NPCs have a low exp to energy ratio as well...(i.e. the Ergosphere Filter?) That gives a 2.8 ratio, judging by my calculations, and that's the max. Thanks for the advice, though, I appreciate it (Both PaulHsiao and Chiaroscuro).

Some people use a lot of GP to power rank
You can also try auto-ranking
