i dont get it someone 5 to 10 lvls higher than me who had beter modules but i did 60 damage and he only did 6???? can someone explain

maybe he had less defense less scan and cloak less attack lot of ways for that to happen.

i only have 3 plasma cannons and he had 2 heavy weapons from the 7th weapons tier

just cause his 2 cannons came from a higher tier doesn't mean they do more damage than your 3 from a lower one. In fact they were probably about the same. Attack outcome is not based on your attack vs his attack, it's based on your attack vs his defense, and vica versa. You could just have a bucket load more defense then he does, which means even though he has more attack than you do, because you have a lot more defense then he does means you'll do more damage to him than he does to you. Although it could also be the size of your ship. I'm not sure how your ship is set up but if your still small enough, he could just be hitting the damage cap on you.

Or it could be the damage cap. It is based on your deck size.
