This reminds me. We could use updates for the stickied posts. A post with just scan numbers would be great to have. Aggross's guide is a bit outdated I think. 7) Rank Points - IMO research can be gotten by planets and attack/defense by modules. But Deck/cargo space is a premium. You can't do anything if you cannot fit it on your ship. So every level I put 4 ranks into decks and one rank into cargo. This way I get 4 decks and 5 cargo every level. Now i have room to put stuff on ship and room in cargo. |

Don't think I ever actually looked a the guide. It was old when I joined. ![]() Anyways, your scan guide is good. Hope people see it and actually use it. ![]() |

The reason I've made this guide is because I'm seeing that Dan is actually making an effort and putting some energy into the community. So long as that continues I have no problem in contributing. I have a lot to offer our community but I was never willing to begin because I felt a lack of connection with Dan's relationship to the forum community. So... now I write guides. ![]() |

Uninstall rare modules that you cannot replace. If you have the credits and the storage space, remove all buy able modules. Install new sensors / scanners and load up on the Arts as previously stated. After you have dispensed the energy allotted, go to your recently scanned list and flag the best planets scanned for later review. Sell or store the scanners / sensors, and put your modules back online. (if you're doing this just before a rank up, do the same, but load up on some energy cores) |

Well done. I'll be moving this to the Beginner's Hub and making it sticky when I get home and can use my computer rather than flub something up with my phone. |

Quote: Be patient until you get your first maxed Plasma (17x Mega Rich Colossal Plasma) just wondering, how long would have to be one player patient to get the Plasma and then fight to keep it... maybe this is more targeted for SSB players? I am also not sure, how much would be such plasma defended or cloaked to find it with just 443scan. A legion of 30 = bonus 60%... 443/1.6= 277 approx, A legion of 50 = bonus 100% 443/2= 222 approx. what is kind of unusually low cloak for such a nice planet. but maybe I am missing some detail. |

Don't worry, you aren't the only one. I was confused by this myself. It seemed to make more sense to tell them to find a Lv5+ research legion with equal distribution and go from there. It does, at least to me, sound more like a SSB scan spree rather than a generic one. |

It doesn't sound like an exclusively SSB plan, remember at low ranks decks are at a premium so installing, using, then uninstalling is standard practice for them. |

Cargo is just as short as deck at that age and we won't have many mission/NPC stuff. The first tier stuff are also dirt cheap so buying and selling aren't too expensive. |

You get used to it so I didn't think it was something that actually needed saying. I mean I'm basically holding their hand and walking them through the process, but I didn't think that they need me to remind them not to walk in a creek when there is a perfectly good bridge to cross on in plain sight. ![]() |

How many Purgers should a person have if they have maxed out their scan tier before they go on a spree?h |

asdfgr wrote: How many Purgers should a person have if they have maxed out their scan tier before they go on a spree?h I try and purge at least 100, my arti production is not too high and doesn't take long to get. Also, don't save up the purgers, use them as you go. Remember each purger costs 5 energy, so if you've saved up 100 and are all ready to go on your spree, that's 500 you need to use first and is 500 less you have for your spree. I usually use them when I have energy to spare, like if I have too much energy just before ranking better to use that excess energy rather than just waste it. |

Just me... But I save them up, incase someone crit hacks me... Less chance for them to get a good planet... Besides... Most people should have enough energy cubes saved up for a scan run. |
