how do you copy a page's url so it redirects you to a certain part of the page and not at the beginning ?

This is something I've wondered about as well. You can count the numbers and get it to show the post you want at the very top, but that's all I know how to do.
You do what I said by counting the number of posts (the first post is post 0, the first reply is the first post), and putting start=x, where x is the post number. That's all I got, hope it helps.

To give the explanation as to how this works, the #number in the URL is an anchor. It refers to an element in the webpage. When you attach an anchor to a URL, it automatically scrolls to that element. Anchors have other uses too, including null links, and I think JQuery UI uses it too to choose which tab is displayed. In fact, Galaxy Legion uses this too for the various tabs that're displayed.
