Post subject:  How do you build a Base?
Do all Bases start at Level 1? And you can build your Base as quickly as you put in Credits and CTP's and Energy and E.M. Is there a document I can access on how to build a base. The wiki has me a little confused. The more I read the more I understand though. Has anyone a simple explanation?

It has all the info you need to start out, just beware, you need to have base research completed to certain levels to be able to contribute to, and hence build, a certain level base. The very first table on the above page tells what you need to have researched to donate, eg, lvl1, 2 and 3 you need to have researched the 1st level of Advanced Logistics.

To answer your first question, yes, built from scratch they start at level 1. You can see from the table mentioned how much energy, EM and CTP you need for each level.

When you found your legion, you'll be given the option to create your base. From there, you'll have to donate energy, exotic matter and complex tech parts to progress it through the levels. Once you see a base, I'm pretty sure this explains itself. You will, however, require a certain research level to donate to each base.

As a general rule, you'll be wanting to get to at least a level 5 base within a few weeks. If you can't, then it may be worth staying somewhere more established for the time being.
