Release Date: 2013-07-16 ![]() The Uldri Expanse (Rank 50+): Now deep within the Uldri Expanse, the search for the Ventar is fully underway. VARA soon detects a large spacial eddy surrounded by objects of unknown composition. Although approaching the eddy is dangerous, the crew feels that the risk is warranted. ![]() Chapter 3: Passage of Risks I have detected a spacial eddy that may be of interest. Sensors have also picked up some objects nearby, but the anomaly interference is too great to determine their composition. The eddy could be dangerous, but it might provide some valuable data. Cost Per Round: 100 Energy + 1 Nanite Swarm Capsule 35 Rounds, daily mission, can be completed 10 times. Reward: 190 experience + Uldri Anomaly Crystal ![]() Uldri Anomaly Crystal [Planet Structure - Size:1, Research:1, Artifact:1] If built on a planet that has been scanned by at least 2 other ships, the structure gains +200 cloak and provides a +5% research bonus. Limit 1/planet. Scrap Value (ea): 0-1 Complex Tech Parts Not eligible for extraction. |

Yeah, i was a little disappointed too. At least it gives some artifact bonus. could be helpful on a mission planet or something else with good arti and research bonuses |

Wow - so basically it gets a bonus if you're playing badly and letting your good planets get scanned, and then not temp fluxing them. At least it gives artis I suppose. |

You are mostly right. I think the best scenario to use it is to find one of your crappier planets with 2 scans on it, build the Uldri, temp flux it, then uplift the planet. This is all presuming that the Uldri bonus remains after the temp flux. |

Waste of energy... I'll pass. And definitely a waste of energy if someone takes the planet. Good news is I have about 800 nanites and I'm going to trade them off at high rates... And eventually maybe I'll get lucky and find some planets with these babies setup already. That's how Scare Face would do it. We sell you the materials to build it, then we come and just take your ***T. ![]() |

My current plan is to put them on Mega Colossals - especially if they have moons, it's hard to totally fill them with AP artifacts, so it doesn't matter so much that this one isn't incredibly efficient. Finding something worth taking that also has 2 scans on it is tough, but not impossible - an alerted enemy planet would do it, or a project planet like you said. But then again, the extra bonuses are weak enough that it's probably too much of a fuss. |

Also they aren't eligible for extraction...so you will be stuck with whatever crap planet they build it on. Personally I am using them as I would a relay tower or a zolzain analyzer and filling a +1 art space. |

Any info yet on whether the bonus is retained after flux/temp flux? That would be most useful. |

Leviii wrote: Any info yet on whether the bonus is retained after flux/temp flux? That would be most useful. No planet structure has ever changed after building built without an explicit action like upgrading. I have no reason to believe it would lose the bonus after fluxing it. Concord station, vaash, isolation bureau, crimson rift aperture and orbital stabilizer all retain their bonus/lack of bonus even if the condition of the planet changes to meet or not meet the requirement after they are built. |

Those also specify "When first built"shouldn't be too hard to test. |

I didn't see a reply to this, so thought that I would let you know that I just fluxed a planet with the 2 scan, 5% bonus. The bonus DOES stay after fluxing. |
