| Post subject: | How to get permant scan? |
I notice that there are ways to permanently space free/cost free improve you ship in all things, EXCEPT scan and cloak, why is this? we can get better hulls/better attack/sheilds/defense but never better scan/cloak? |

Without limits, scan and cloak can become too overpowered. Cloak makes it so people can't see you on the battle tab, and scan allows you to scan planets if their cloak is lower than your scan. Without limits, Dan can't control the amount of planets you can scan and how difficult it is to hide planets, or how difficult it is to hide your ship. These things require tighter control than the other stats, because the other stats are limited in other ways. |

if what way? if you have both scan and cloak as options as they would both balance eachother how would this be a problem balance wise? |
