Namekian, not to do this to another thread of yours but some of these suggestions are plain terrible.

At least I am trying to be helpful, all you have done is criticize all my threads... not even helpful criticism.

You may be making suggestions, but if people were to follow your suggestions, it may do their ship more harm than good.
It is the same issue as there was with your ship build guide, you don't seem experienced enough to actually know what to suggest.
Not at all a bad day at work, for one I am a Masters student so don't have work on a Sunday.
I criticise the threads because there are normally massive flaws to the them...

Your suggestions range from genuinely good to plain terrible On a scale of 1 - 10 (with 1 being bad and 10 being good) here's what I rate your ideas: Namekian wrote: First joined .Get your first Dominion Cannon for 40 red badges 1/10: Getting a Dominion Cannon is great, but as many will tell you pvping gets harder with rank. So it's wiser to save your red badges for the Dominion Cannon Mk 3's..Join a distant legion of research 7/10: Getting a fair amount of research to get ahead of the game is great but is countered by increasing costs. Artifact is key..Perform enough hacks to buy the Decryption Quad-Frames and CipherBots 9/10: Getting the Blue Badge modules early on saves on nulls, as many lower ranks don't wear QFTs so this is actually good advice. Although due being low rank with low energy bar (assuming you just started) a great deal of energy will be consumed faster than it will recharge, and slow/freeze ranking has mixed views so...Below 20 .Start a small scan run and find distant planets 10/10: Scanning for planets is essential. Nothing needs to be proven here..Have a friendly chat with another legion mate 10/10: Communication at low(er) ranks is crucial to success for dedicated newbies and a way to keep other newbies interested in the game..Successfully start raiding other players ?/10: Getting the yellow badge modules will be easy, although besides disables becoming harder to get with rank raiding doesn't really get difficult. After rank 30 .Help your legion to hit bases for silver badges 3/10: There isn't much help a low rank can offer to disable bases for a legion besides scanning bases..Buy your second Dominion Cannon 1/10: Save up for the Mk 3's.Perform a successful raid apon a enemy bases ?/10: This is kind of an "uh? duh!" thing.Rank 30 to 40 .Move to a distant artifact base 10/10: Artifact is key..Invade a planet against another player ?/10: This is a milestone for many newbies. But becomes easy to do after a while..Complete 3 missions ?/10: Everyone will end up doing this but um...Before rank 50 .Alert a planet to a legion mate and get them to invade or colonize it ?/10: This sounds like a personal goal.Help out another legion mate 7/10: Helping out others is good for them, but not very helpful for the donor, if the donor is a low rank. Unless the donor is giving up something he/she has no use for. .Buy all the blue badge modules (not including upgrades) 6/10: This would be a tough and challenging feat. Would require some freeze ranking though. The ones I highlighted in red are extra fun

I can see that you're trying to help by giving advice, but to be honest it's bad advice. That's why everyone is criticizing.

Nam you are still very young when it comes to rank and play time. Rank 110 (if your sig is still right) is still very early in terms of this game. If you want to help out that is great and all but please try and stick with answering questions that they ask instead of making guides. At least for the time being. Maybe once you are larger in rank. Like say 700+ you can start giving advice. I would trust most rank 700's to know what they are doing and why.

I rate that one slightly difrent playret0195x - 1/10 basicly hacking = freezrank at low rank, sure if you are sitting at a artifact base getting 50K+ artifact points a day that can be usefull, but at the same time you are not realy playing the game if some had told me at rank 10, just to sit on my behind and do nothing but hack other players, I would proberly have quit the game and found something with a bit more action instead for me the only way to find out if I like a game or not, is to actualy play it and see what difrent options / stradegies it have to offer

When it comes to a step by step guide of what to do at what ranks they are all bad to be honest. I mean come on, not everyone is going to enjoy doing the same thing as another player. There should be no guides like this out there at all. If a new player wants help on a step by step guide per rank and asked me for help with it I would have to ask him all sorts of questions to see what he wants to get out of the game and what likes and dislikes he knows he has from playing other games then I could help said player out more with this sort of thing. Even then I would give like three or four different things he could do per step and what he would most likely get out of it and let him decide in the end. There is no real wrong or right way to start the game as long as you are having fun with what you are doing.

The best option woould be to freeze rank around rank 5 and just focus on hacking as there is almost unlimited supply of targets. Getting plenty of blue badges should help getting mods.
Getting at least 3 or maybe even 4 domi Is should be easy at early ranks too and don't forget to raid to for yellow badges. Don't worry as you will have plenty of time to save enough red badges for domi IIIs before rank 100.
Joining legion is must. Both artifact and research ones have they advantages. If new player is well discipled it won't be issue being in research legion as long as he/she is researching planetary production structures and shields. Daily RP shipments can help a lot with that. Make sure you are in active legion with decent base don't stick around in dead end legions.
Make sure to finish easy missions for complition rewards. Don't try to do too many mission as it can be taxing on energy and playtime. I am not expert but try to finish at least one of race changing chains before rank 100. I did zolazin but at lower ranks there is not much zolazin can do so if I had a chance to do it agiain I would probably do mylari just to get it out of way (I myself at rank 350 still have not even started this yet).

Getting plenty of blue badges should help getting mods. if you want good combat stats sure you can do that but also consider this, your artifact production at rank 5, will be maby 200 artifact points pr hour = 200 * 24 = 4800 ap pr day and + 50K-70K points pr day from base sit at rank 5 for 3 months and you will get 75K * 90 = 6.7 mil artifact points if you dont care about combat stats, and instead speed rank to rank 200, and get your mission Exotic + mission Dysson asap you could easily get 10k to 15K artifact points pr hour = 15K * 24 = 360K artifact points pr day + 50-70K points pr day from base sit at rank 200 for 3 months instead and do your hacking + make mining/recearch planets with myralai and kronyn race abillity, and you will pick up 430K * 90 = 38.7 mil artifact points difrence is, you will need Null Fuse to do your hacking, and PvP combat will be a bit harder but 32 mil artifact points = quite a few extra rank points, decks and crew from Bots, prisoners and androids 1.000.000 artifact points will usealy give you 10 to 15, prisoners and 20 to 30 androids so the 32 mil artifact points from freez ranking at rank 200 instead of dooing it at rank 5 = around 320 to 480 prisoners = 960 to 1.440 extra rank points and around 1000 to 1500 Helmsmen + 1300 to 2000 Scientists from androids good or bad depends on what you want to do with your ship just sit on your behind and build up combat stats..... or actualy play the game and improve your ship + planets as mutch as posible both stradegies works...
