It does not work like that. it would be probably 2x MR. 15x MR is a value of 27 (see following link: http://galaxylegion.com/wiki/index.php/Planets) (down page under resource availability chart) half of 27 is 13.5 which if rounded up would make it 2x MR(value of 14 on the chart) I'm pretty sure it caps at 15x MR. So if you had a research planet that was 20XMR and converted it, it would still only be 2x MR |

If you read the link about planets. It reads that it divides research up to 18X MR. So I think you should get at least a 3X MR arti and mining planet from that. |

I made one once. It was crappy so I made it x15 all. It will be the only one I make :/ gotta have a complete collection of planet types |
