How exactly should I build up an 15x artifact planet as a rank 132?
I have obvi shields already researched but I don't think just slapping 12s and shields is the way to go.

This is my usual setup for very large planet with good production and decent bonuses for my artifact planets. There are a couple of planet structures that do not give artifact production, but that's just there to hide, defend and keep while I upgrade my planets with racial abilities. You can squeeze more things if you are some how able to replace the obviation barrier defense with something that adds more defense for the space used.

These (with possible exception of the last and the CI Nexus for cloak) are horrible additions to a 15x ap planet. Why are you adding rp and mp structures? I understand the defense but really that only holds off lower ranks - but in that case a Flux Probe is a better friend. Better to focus research on planet cloak and get to the +800 structures as soon as you can.

And please save your vaults for rp or mp planets. Maxed AP should be just that = AP!

And if your Talth it is much better to find Massive or VM to uplift as with VL you just don't have enough space to get good production and all the cloak you need.

have to agree with much of this list of structures NOT to include, but the SGV is still good at 150 cloak per space. the TPC's i would only include if you are putting on an orbital stabilizer after using a reality transfuser on the planet. the rest should all be replaced with %cloak structures - ergosphere filter, meta-tuned jammer, resonance inhibitors, polaron emitter, litheor core tunnel, bioship landing platform (after boosting size to VM), and chron shifters.

PCVs are okay to be used on any planet that you are not max.cloaking. 15x arti planets are definitely NOT targets for polychoron vaults. the only exception to storages on 15x or better would be the scruuge hoarding vaults, or t.o. harvest vaults (again, if you have the post-transfused orbital stabilizer).

Terraforming devices will just be raining in or popping out more often as people become more efficient npc killers. Eventually the main modules will end up being the most efficient ones for all productions that probably go for 1:1 production for space to production respectively. Just simply having artifact production is just simply not efficient for endgame gameplay and doing legion missions because people often have high upkeeps and need a lot of exotic matter.

I'm adding those for later because sooner or later npcing is going to go by quicker and I might have a higher chance of getting terraformer devices from npcs like T.O Troop Carrier. Sooner or later all planet productions are going to be upgraded with terraformers in the endgame. The purpose of having these mods that you see unecessary are essential to high rank and endgame production that benefits when keeping up with missions and keeping up with ship upkeep for all ship builds.

BTW 32k is max/ max with everything .. which not many ppl have those artie no more

regular repeatable with maxed mods its like 25.9k scan ( This is Kirk's math ) :P

Didn't he say he was level 132? Thinking many of those structures don't exist in his world. IF's and some minor cloak structures probably do. Best advice would be don't talth up any planet under VL and later probably under Massive. There's too many to select from and with talth and terraformers, you really don't want to lose out on spacing. Might even be prudent to take a really long term view and wait to find/buy/trade for planets with moons to max space. At lower levels you planet is building up to be eaten by a mid or high rank who will use it for page 20 of their collection. AT low rank i would suggest saving your limited efforts of Talth for worthy planets. Since you can basically 'up' one a month to max or close, that would /should be your goal. Scan or search, find a good one...talth and/or terra it up..cloak, then swap out for arti stuff as you gain stuff worth using. IMHO

If I was going to just post a rather statistically unimpressive planet based on size and richness that provides production far beyond what the planet deserves (short of it being a project planet) like listed above, then I would just leave this here and give a list of the limited, and mostly unextractable structures I put on this unbuffed S 2x Terra that is my rift-to-be, but I won't. Because that isn't that helpful for your everyday VL 15x, nor is it helpful for a rank 132.

For an average VL 15x planet, if your not looking to put too much into it...I crafted up this build for a friend a couple months back. Most of these should be accessible to you, since it was crafted for someone of sub-rank 400 at the time. It makes an easily guaranteeable 600 APH for non excavators and holds its own enough to protect itself long enough for the red alert to pop up if someone attacks it.

Cloak xxxx <-- For just an average VL 15x build thats extremely easy to replicate, Id advise against cloak if you can't spare enough for your projects. But if you have a ton spare, feel free to max it to 3.9k cloak. Itll still come out to about 10k after legion bonus.

This build is not meant to prevent people from invading your planet while you were offline. Quite frankly, if you are offline, nothing will stop a legion from invading your 15x VL arti planet short of a pre-bricked planet with XRP inhibitors to prevent sabs. But doing that prevents you from getting any production. The point of this build is to give you enough time to respond to any potential attackers if you happen to be online.

All of these artifacts are extremely easy to acquire and only require a half decent CTL, having done CTL research, and at least tapping bases.

Based on 100% Legion Bonus (50 seems more typical than 60 members anyways)

Population 1140
Attack at least 4290
Defence 11405 or 13385
Cloak 1600
