Likely fixed by him adding a new NPC, or making the ship modules upgradeable to something like 200-300%

Right.... because he totally did that(boost to 200% or 300%) with the rest of the NPC module drops that have been out for years....

A new NPC wouldn't fix the issue, what is more likely is he'll just make next years modules have better stats than this years though.

So just to check the trading forum artifact can only be used once per planet (I would think so but I did not see text to confirm)?

Correct once per planet. And yes i tried just because there was nothing in the description saying I couldn't.

I didn't get the dealer medal.

I ended up getting 6 Chuhn merchants is all. Having kept accurate track of which npc's I got, I have exact numbers to go by. My final spawn rate for the Chuhn merchant is 1 in 564.67 NPC's. Course, I didn't hunt real hard for them. Didn't want to rank too much now, and then again in Oct/Nov/Dec seasonals. I'll finish getting this one next year.

2 Sparkmatter
2 Stem Bolts (yes they are self sealing)
1 Prejor Grav-Hutch
1 Furlinium-D Spanner

Across the event I killed in the region of 11-12k NPCs. During it I received the following from Chuhn Merchants

Fornax Jewel: 3
Traingular Crapmatter: 2
Prejor Grav Hutch: 3
Furlinium D-Spanner: 3
Eye of Andromeda: 1
Chuhn Stem Bolts: 12

yes, have a few planets where I got artifact 2, recearch 1 from them...
but also got unlucky a few times and only got artifact 1 or recearch 1 as the only score on it

for talking for fun i had everything in order not any arties exeding, only more stem bolts and sparkmatter except off the ship mod in folllowing order, all the rest, only 2 of each all in order.i know its late, but thats a big luck or what any other player lived this by luck
