I'm not new it's just been a very long time since I since I was a low rank. Can someone tell me what rank a new player can start invading planets?! |

There never used to be a limit on it, until about 2 - 2 ½ or so years. Used to be able to invade at rank 1 even (speaking from experience) |

I think if I'm not mistaken you can invade a planet right off the bat, however you lose your planet protection which otherwise lasts for until you either reach rank 20 or when your ship is over two weeks old whichever came first. I can't remember the exact numbers at this point. |

Planets owned by new players are immune to attack until the new player hits rank 20, or 2 weeks of play. New players are also unable to invade enemy planets until those conditions are met. |

Ah, I must've had it confused with another game that had similar newbie protection. i added a link on the wiki to Dan's original explanation ... basically a sub.rank 20 should not be able to invade a planet when no one can take it back from them. |
