Probably because the effort required to get the ability is far greater than the reward. Plus the fact that it cost relics to use the ability is just another downer being that the ability is on a 40hr timer costing 5 relics when most legion missions are 3 day events rewarding 3 - 8 relics. I would have liked to have seen the resources reversed (arti: +3, res: +2, min: +1) and a cloak +30% in addition to the current results.

the idea is to save up your relic badges BEFORE you get to this point ...

personaly I think its a bit of a disapointment, the relic cost hurts it a bit and its just not that interesting to be totaly honest. If its gonna be a structure I agree either a increase in the arti or maybe a small cloak % bonus too. Personaly I would have loved if it coulda had the allow you to complete a second task on a legion mission with maybe a week cooldown would have been much, much more interesting. Basicly I think it was a chance to do something cool and its sad that it went to just a meh structure for cost

I think it's a pretty cool building. Not every planet can/should have an Omniforge or 5k+ passive cloak; the 3% arti is definitely worth 5 relic badges on top-tier planets. I know some people are gonna act like they'll just shrivel up and die without getting to use the Darmos ability every 40 hours, but it's just not feasible with this guy -- and that's fine.

In spirit, I like Peticks' idea of allowing more Legion Mission stuff to be completed... but in practice, it's probably a bad idea to give people something that lets them burn through content even faster. The Galaxy really doesn't any more ships that have rushed through every personal goal, completed every mission, upgraded every item, etc., who spend less time playing than bitterly complaining about how bored they are.

Strongly dissagree with you there, people are going to pick the choice task regardless, this would allow them to take another decent, but not amazing, task and complete it. So its obvious people going to focus on the autosync beam from roathir:hostile takeover but it would allow them to also do say the flow converter, an as you could use it with the tasks in even order allow a better split while everyone being happy for getting the nice task

i like it...long time ago i used to play dnd....one of the precepts there was for the dungeon master not to get carried away with super prizes for everything...ala the monte hall approach. If you make every seasonal drop 2x as good, every new ability so much better than the old, you run into a war of gaming economic inflation. You devalue everything , especially the obtaining of lower tiers items (outmoded, similar to almost ALL researchable ship mods at this point) and people will only clamour for something doubly good again--ad infinitum.

Hard work for a nice prize is a hard balance to strike. I thnk this one does. I mean goddamn how much % prod bonus do you want? Hell, if a big legion succeeds twice a week you're prolly getting somewhere between 8-14 relic badges---ie-- 2 uses on your best planets going down. Sure everyone wants more, but lets normalize things a little, ok?

I mean the people who benefit the most will be high ranks..for what should be very obvious reasons. IS that what you want, more have vs. have not disperity in the game? Quit beyotching about geting something new and decent.

Does the regular weapon module dissapear and leave empty decks once it becomes an ally ?

yes because it is taken out of the weapons section and moved to the allies section. I am curious if anyone has tried to do another run of that task to have both an ally and see if the regular weapon can be installed or if the 1 drone limit is applicable across sections.
