Due to Hyperluminal radiation, Time Manipulators cost 35 energy to use.

If halcs weren't bad enough...

"You must scan for purple and red gas planets to find Hyperluminal Readings."

could do with a bump up in the arti department for sure, or maybe a small cloak or research % bonus

Restricting the planets usable to only 2 particular gas planets insures that this mission will be done by no one after a few attempts.

omg if it's not 3:2 arti or better it suuuuuuucks

I kid, I kid. I got absolutely no probs with an excuse to scan, moar cloak, and 1:1 artifact. Tis a nice little reward for one of the littler events :)

Anybody figure out if it's extractable yet?

this mission is going to be a pain for small ships. No one wants to switch mods every day

Unless of course, you're one of the hundreds that already did their scan run earlier today.

In which case, you are royally screwed for the next.... week.... 2 weeks...month...3 months, depends on your aph i guess.

Either way, a good portion of the playerbase will not get these artifacts, unless they pay for a profession change to explorer to gather more readings. :)

Good plan Dan. :)

Difficult to tell for certain from your wording, but if you're under the impression that the Hyperluminal Satellite itself is only usable on those gas planets, that is definitely not the case.

Guys cheer up , it's a decent reward for a basic game function. If you've already done your blitz then you're unlucky of course but sometimes that's how the chips fall.

True, but i think this just shows everyone the very basic need for a schedule.

A schedule which i'll remind Dan, i suggest at the start of December, so we know when the next event starts. :)

Plan on doing the daily at least 3 times so I can get the medal. Not going to worry if I complete any more times or not before the event ends. Note: Collected 15 readings earlier and did the mission twice. I'll have the medal tomorrow.

True for a lot of players. But unless there's like an NPC that upgrades the structure or something, it's nice, but probably not so "must have" that people are gonna feel they need a profession change.

Of course, if it does upgrade and ends up +2 or even +3 in its ultimate form, I'll regret not getting any
