took me about 1700 planets to get the 220 nanosheared scans

should know the ability in around 3-5 hours.

So, I decided to start using some of the uncolonized planets I'd gotten during my scan blitzes for the mission. I don't remember seeing anything prior to colonization of a specific planet... but now one of those planets has a flashing red exclamation sign over it and on the effects page it says:
Nanosheared Drilling Site : Production -50%

You'll note that there's no timer for it...

I remain curious to see how this plays out.

Must've missed it. Here I was hoping for something a little more elaborate. C'est la vie.

As per some talk in our legion, i would advise that people not fix the -50% debuff right away.


There's always a chance that a planet artifact might get a double bonus if placed on a planet where that effect is active.

And that would be great if there's something w/a benefit for going onto a planet w/the shearing. I was just going to wait to fix it until after we upgrade the legion base in a few months, now I've got a good reason to hopefully make it worth waiting.

It's not on cooldown though? At least the image doesn't show it is, so it's just a case of someone using the ability and scanning today.

You are right, I'm just so used to the disappointment of leveling an ally to 100, then having to wait another 40 hours, I got confused!

So looks like we can know today then assuming someone is able to scan enough planets to find one depending on its rarity

Yup.

Best bet is gonna be Hallucinations i think, unless some of the others who have maxed it can scan again.

I hope it has several things it can contain, and as you say depending on the rarity, it could hold some really great items or if its quite common maybe it can have a whole bunch of good items.
