Chapter 6: Opening the Kassivar

Word has spread quickly about your discovery. The rest of the Lutuma are not far behind. We've come to provide some new insight after pouring over our ancient texts. We know what this phenomenon is... The Oruas Kassivar.

Cost Per Round: 400 Energy + 1 Key Segment A + Key Segment B
20 Rounds, daily mission, can be completed 11 times.
Reward: 400 experience + 1 The Key of Kassivar
You must use your new 'Build Segment' abilities to create Key Segments.

Builds Segment A of the Kassivar Key. Can only use if your available energy is 250 or lower.
Cool down: 30 Seconds
Cost to use: 10 energy + 400 Exotic Matter

Builds Segment B of the Kassivar Key. Can only use if your remaining shields are depleted.
Cool down: 1 minute
Cost to use: 0 energy + 40 Complex Tech Parts

The Key of Kassivar
[Device - Size:25, Cloak:60, Shields:100]
If this device is already installed on your ship, this will instead upgrade its stats by 30%, up to 300% max. When fully upgraded it will unlock an ability.

Scrap Value: 7-15 CTP

Final Stats: Size:25, Cloak:360, Shields:600

Ability: The Key emits mysterious energies. Activating it produces a random ship boost for 8 hours.
Costs: 250 Energy
Cooldown: 40 hours

Random Boost:
  • 3% Attack
  • 3% Defense
  • 5% Shield
  • 2% Scan
  • 5% Hull

but now i have to figure out how to get rid of 28k energy without ranking up lol. purgers maybe ??

Lots of governance probes with a side of carpal tunnel?

A stack of permanent anubixes stuck in your cargo?

Took another look - recondites are another option, and flux tracers use more energy, looks like there's an unsendable in every other recipe so once you run low on permanent supplies would have to stick to the above.

Since you are a leader at AU: Once you run out of purgers and stuff to build in the CT lab, just go to your base and "Change Base Details" repeatedly while waiting for Key Part B to cool down.

Tedious, but if you really don't wanna rank, it's pretty effective.

you can just get disabled and do part B
then you have no shield recharge

lol, yeah at 50 energy a pop .. it will take awhile.

down to 22.5k energy .. so more purgers !

Change legion info is 50 energy... go to "Change Base Details" from the "Actions" tab, then "Change Base Design."

You don't actually have to change the design, of course, just click the button. It's 100 energy per pop -- still incredibly tedious, of course :)

Cloning pods should resolve the energy depletion requirement. Just tried it and it works
