maybe we (the players) end up responsible for the eye's destruction , and the lutuma seek vengeance after that , and thereafter have to fight lutuma npc's on our bt's . also another thought , the "great cost" could be that when the above happens, the lutuma start attacking your planets . that would be cool !

I wouldn't mind an all out war against a particular fraction of NPCs.

Maybe we can get artis to use on enemy ships that make THEM look like lutuma and they become random 'npc' targetable ships!

The Great Elders
37 / 40
Completion Level: 8 of 10

missed by 3 warp gate chassis :(

that one hypergate that i built only hours before the release of this daily cost me the finish ...

would have been nice to have done every round of this mission chain during the weeks of release .. but i will only be held up by 20 hours when it gets archived in a few weeks. if i had managed to get those 3 extra chassis today .. i would have been able to finish this and move straight on to the final in one go.

maybe i will try to stockpile 100 of each chassis in reserve for the future ...

I'm guessing the final mission will be a repeatable one.. and each completion spawns a Lutuma NPC in our BT

Well you could have gotten them from the GP Market if you really wanted to :P
Just sayin'...

or extracted them from a planet if they weren't upgraded.

maybe. but i'd rather keep the 3 extractors to lift the ergospheres off of the planets that i have on scan. besides .. it's only a 20 hour delay.

it's just that i think that there are not very many ships that did this mission chain all the way through ... and it would have been nice to have been one of the well-rounded ships that managed to do so. this chain had just about everything .. planet scanning .. NPC hunting ... big energy requirements ... exotic matter consumption ... PvP disables .. ctp consumption ... but falling just short (on warp gate chassis, not null fuses) on the penultimate mission due to only having 90k AP per hour ? i can live with that ;)
