I am a bit impatient, but when the event will be announce ?
it should start in the next few days

it's not a fixed date for this one as it's conected to easter, this year easter sunday = April 16th
and the event is usealy 18 to 20 days.

so it should start somewere betwen march 28th and April 1st this year.

only one who knows more then that is Dan, and and he only makes the anouncment after the events have started

After ? how can we prepare if the announcement is after the event start ? :P
I saw the post he did for 2017 but its still 2016 info so its a little confusing

Dan doesn't post details of the event, he just updates the latest "bug reports" and lists anything updated since the last update as well as that the event has started.

The forum posts about each specific event themselves are created by members of the forums here, and so to get ready for it starting and to prevent a ton of new threads popping up they get one ready (with the previous year's info) in advance and then lock it until the event actually starts. None of us actually know when the start date will be.
