The Vetheral Prisoner
We're receiving a secure short-range comm from someone on Vardis VI, one of the planets we just discovered during our search. The planet is using some sophisticated signal jammers - I can't determine where the signal is coming from...

Requires: 2 Blue Badges + 900 Energy
Risks: An extra mini-challenge is required at the final step before completion.

If this device is already installed on your ship, this will instead upgrade its stats by 40%, up to 1000% max. When fully upgraded, it will unlock a passive ability.

Scrap: 7-15 CTP

Passive Ability: When earning a blue badge, you have a chance to receive an additional blue, red, yellow or green badge.

How does one unlock the Sileena chain, then? I don't have Ravyn.

You have to actually complete the Ravyn chain. The a Sileena chain is actually a sequel chain like the corruption chain is to the lutuma chain. Side note: I find the title very interesting on this mission. Vetheral is the term used in Mawks for shapeshifters. Not knowing what the mission dialogue is yet, it probably has something to do with that.

I stupidly used a bunch of containment missiles in the CT Lab and got slowed down at the end of the ravyn chain...looking forward to getting there, got my brackets stored up to finish up Ravyn as soon as I finish my orbisbarrier...

Well it is not as cheap as killing n00bs guarding Exotica but not a graceful to gain reds. I would have made it yellow, green, silver and blue only but I like how inventive it is overall :idea:

Only 200 days of farming blues for me to unlock its ability! And even then its a 'chance' to get 1 more badge from the 5 targets I can see. I do like it but but but.
