I am trying to think of a less impressive ability that could have been offered at the end of a quite difficult chain but am drawing a blank.
A bit stunned by the sheer ordinariness and lack of utility.

It definitely doesn't seem to fit with the dialogue and the chain where they say it can aid its user in times of duress. Really not getting that one to be honest. Would have been niceer if it reduced ALL active timers abilities, invade, daily reward, etc, by 3-4 hours.

Wow.

Outside of getting a few extra free race changes, or maybe if your CT lab isn't full and you're praying for research, I don't see much use. The ROI for time/energy on this chain is mind-bogglingly low.

On the plus side, all of the new modules and most of the structures were pretty sweet, but the final reward... yeah. LOL

Totally Pongo, really enjoyed the chain as a whole but the final reward is just pretty crappy.
Oh goodie, an extra race change maybe, once a year... congratulations on your win, we would like to honor your efforts by presenting you with this glass of tepid tap water, served from a rusty pipe. Enjoy! :P

lol, I guess you're right about the extra chances for tris and cubes.
Guess that *could* be handy-ish for some peeps which I guess would be good-ish. I'm still overwhelmed with the "blah" myself :)
To be honest, the whole chain didn't put much of a dent in my energy reserves, I have a reasonably high energy bar so fortunately it wasn't really a big deal for me on that front.

the daily reward timer is currently at 19 hours ... so you basically double your daily rewards .. including rank points, anniversary caches, spheres of the new era ... AND GALAXY POINTS !

Good news, it seems the original reward was *far* too delicious, so the bonus has now been reduced to 6 hours reduction.

well that means the one real big use, new years 4x rather than 3x, is now not even a thing

you all complain but do not look at the bigger picture that mod has scan which means you can now scan higher :) no complaints on it thank you dan for the nice work i sure will enjoy the use of it in all directions cloak for hacking scan for scanning and the ability for hopefully minerals lol

306 planets, 17 databases. So, 1 in every 18 planets. At this rate, it'll take me 9360 purgers.

681 scans for 40 databases...so just over 17 scans per. That's a little better at least.

My best run was 100 Databases and 12 nests in 1047 new planets.

3098 scans so far, 136 databases, so 1 in every 22 or so, and another 6248 scans (on average) find the rest of them.

last two 500 planet runs

56 in 500
36 in 500

so those ave to 46 in 500...still a decent rate
