New medals:

5-Alarm Incursion
During the Hallows Bane event, Invade 5+ planets that have been scanned by at least 5 other ships, but no more than 10 other ships. Reward: Bane Ritual Mask

Shattered Darkness
Invade 10+ planets that are under the effects of a Dark Arbalest VII (or greater) Reward: Arbalast Precision (passive ability - extra green badge if invasion target has arbalast VII ability)

You can actually complete the Shattered Darkness medal without buying either the arbalest or its upgrades - simply have someone else who does have the mod upgraded use the ability on a planet you will invade and it will count. Same with once you unlock its passive ability, just have someone else use it before invasion.

if you buy all upgrade until, Bane HyperShroud VI Upgrade
[ Limited Item - Halloween ]
Upgrades a Bane HyperShroud V on your ship to a Bane HyperShroud VI,
increasing its cloak by 140,
and increases its Passive timer bonus by another 1 hour/2 hour and buy 2 you fail invade you can just re invade right away calculate this 4hour last year 2 2hour upgrade get to 0 hour to re invade if you fail 12h if you get it

I upgraded my hypershrouds and can confirm that there is now a 0-hour timer on failed invasions. You do have to click off the planet screen and back again but can just keep invading as often as you want until you succeed (whereupon you get a 12 hour timer.) So realistically, you can invade every 3 seconds if you keep failing.

Assuming the planet's owner isn't online to defend the planet, there should not be a reason to ever fail again since even at a 10% success chance, you can still just keep going until you get the planet.

i confirm as well.. i had a 90% fail, clicked off, tried again, 90% fail..clicked off, clicked on..success...

I think I worked out a bug:

If you get hit by the psybeacons while doing the daily mission on the last tick to complete, your perpetual hyperturbine will not upgrade.

If I am not mistaken it was already the case last year. I think you still get a psybeacon though.

Probably; I don't recall seeing anybody talk about it and this was the first time it happened to me this year (at least, first time I noticed anyhow.) First time I was wondering why my hyperturbine hadn't updated, but then I noticed specifically the second time it happened a few days later and was thinking, Ahah!

So, figured I'd let others know what I'd noticed.

And yes, you still get the psybeacon reward, just not the hyperturbine upgrade.
