Attack: 423 / Defense: 277 Attack: 710 / Defense: 330

I was attacking but every battle npc won my attack was higher than its defense is npc a combination of its attack and defense. It is my attack vs its defense yes?

Your attack vs its defense determines the damage you do to it.

Its attack vs your defense determines the damage it does to you.


423 vs 330 = Okay hit

710 vs 277 = Nasty hit back


Probably not the case here, but there are also damage caps on NPCs that are considered smaller so you could vastly overmatch their defense and still take several hits to bring them down.

As long as it is worth the energy it takes to kill it, it doesn't matter who wins each battle.

Although, in theory, you get more XP for a 'win.'

I have to disagree with this part. I think its completely random within a certain range. I've lost a battle miserably and got 13 xp then the very next hit only got 8 for an obvious critical hit.

However the fewer hits it takes you to kill a NPC the higher the xp bonus is. So it is better to do more damage and win each battle.

No, the disable bonus is the same whether it takes 3 shots or 15. Fewer shots required to kill something just means you have more energy to kill something else.

Yes, less attacks just means a higher experience/energy ratio, not actually more experience.

i disagree with not more xp because with the energy yu didnt wast on the last NPC you can kill/try to kill another
