Post Can someone explain legions
I play another game where we have alliances and they are essential. Is there a listing of legions and info on joining?

Legions are automatically added when your friends are playing Galaxy Legion.

The more people in your legion, the more bonuses you get on your planetary attack, defense, and cloak. With a maximum of 100% bonus. therefore, got 100 friends that all play this game, your bonus doubles on your planet. This makes it easier to defend and keep safe your planets in the galaxy.
