hey what do i do when it tells me i have no room to install something do i increase hull or cargo or what Also how do i aquire a planet

You have to have more decks in order to add more things to your ship. Also to aquire a planet you have to scan for some on the planets tab. Once you found some click on the name and it will give you an option to colonize it.

And someone asked before if you can get more scanning %, just in case you also have that question, you do if you research and instal better scanners.

Decks=Room available for equipped modules, Cargo=Room available for unequipped modules, minerals, and special items.

As for a planet, you find it in your planets tab, click on it and if you have the credits press colonize to colonize it.
