This is lame, I hope this does not continue or it will ruin the game. This only benefits higher level players, At my level, I will barely get one of these, and then I may not even be able to use it. I enjoy this game so far. I hope things like this do not spoil it for new players

If this is like the last mission chain when it is done (time wise). It will be added into the game as a mission chain.

What starts the prejor missions?
These are a hugely distracting. Someone should make a cost benefit analysis to see if the lost xp/credits is worth it.

I've almost finished it for the first time 50/90 completion and ive been playing the game for 3 days, might even go for the second one, as the 2 to 1 ratio for XP is fairly decent, but this will push me out of my newbie protection

mesayah you should do fine so long as you do not bug to many people once you get out of it. About in the same spot and many levels a head of you.

I did attack another rank 1 person when i first joined, to get a feel for the combat within the game, but since then ive been stockpiling my energy for missions and the like so i shouldn't have too many people chasing me hoping to get it done first time through by tomorrow, but its good to see that someone posted details on the prize im chasing, thanks

Is it that you don't think you'll be able to get the reward, you don't think you'll be able to USE it, or you just don't think it's useful? I would disagree with all 3. The item does not only benefit higher levels because they have vastly more powerful items available, but 10 space for +40 cloak is incredibly powerful at lower ranks. You CAN get these if you chose, whatever your energy max is you're generating at least 20 per hour. Without getting in to the math of how many times you'd need to log in, you could be generating at least 480 per day, which is more than enough for both completions within the 2 week limit. And finally, there is NO reason why you wouldn't be able to use it. It's almost the same as the prejor beacon sensor, which was 10 space for +40 scan. I got 2 of those shortly after I started. It means putting other missions on hold for a while, but I got them at a low rank, and I still use them. I love the special limited mission rewards, and hope to see many more in the future.

Im rank 39(WOOT! 1 more rank till Prejor) and Im amost done with the first. Ill finish it in 2 days for sure. Ill have enough time to finish both. Il finish both by time that 1 week is left. Even if you didnt research any cores you should be able to finish it by end of the time limit. If you have 100 energy and 3 minutes recharge that meens it will be 5 hours for a full recharge. If you play 10 hours a day (Like I do) and compltly dedicate all your energy to the mission you should get 8 done a day. you should get it done in 11 and a half days. The mission will last 14 days so youll be able to finish it once. It benefits you even if you never researched a single energy tier(Which you should do by the time you reach rank 2)

@Robert, or you can get some relays and.... No Tier = 100 energy in 300 minutes 1st Tier (+1) = 100 energy in 293 minutes 2cd Tier (+3) = 100 energy in 280 minutes 3rd Tier (+6)= 100 energy in 260 minutes 4th Tier (+9)= 100 energy in 240 minutes 5th Tier (+12)= 100 energy in 220 minutes 6th Tier (+15)= 100 energy in 200 minutes 7th Tier (+18)= 100 energy in 180 minutes 8th Tier (+21)= 100 energy in 160 minutes ect....

They just allows EVERYONE to have additional cloak in addition to the installed modules. Headless wrote: I love the special limited mission rewards, and hope to see many more in the future. Yeah, my only concern is when you accidentally sell it off...like my post http://galaxylegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=705

if you don't like new content, don't participate. Almost done with 2nd iteration.

I personally like it... even if at higher levels they will be less efficient deck-wise than what one can make, I will probably still keep them just because they will not count against my cloaking unit total.

That's a very good point. They don't count against your other device limits. I almost got talked out of getting them. 10 space per is a bit much for me right now to equip. But at some point, another 80 cloak might come in handy on top of the other devices that can be equipped.

Well due to me spending lot of time researching better energy modules, i find the zolazin jammer to be VERY useful for me, but i will not be going for the second one unfortunatley, i have a lot more researching to do, but one is more than enough for me right now

I'd like to add my two cents since I just got my first jammer device. I had 16 cloak and now I have 56. Thats a huge jump for me without research and stuff in cloaking tech.
I'd like to propose that anyone who completes this mission (or any limited edition item reward) should be able to re-purchase the item at a later date if they sell it for deck space or by accident.
It should be easy to set up a command line or check- "Player X completed Special Mission Y? If yes, then Item Reward = purchasable. If no, then Item Reward = non-purchasable."
