| Post subject: | Am I ready to drop newbie protection? |
Hey all, I'm Rank 19 and I was wondering if I should go ahead and level up to Rank 20 and lose newbie protection? I have a week's worth left. I have the following: 92 research per hour (colonies haven't peaked so probably 100+ by then) 72 mining per hour (haven't peaked so probably 100+ by then) 35 artifacts per hour I've researched Fusion mark 4, advanced robotics mark 3 (all level 2 buildings), EM scanner mark 3, and I'm now working on weapons (up to Mass Driver mark 2). Should I stay in newbie protection and research more weapons and defenses, or should I take the plunge and get to rank 20 and hopefully be able to invade the Terra planet I found with 3X Mega Rich resources? |

I would risk it. If you have found a world like that I think it would be worth what ever risks there are to take it. I am ranked 37 and have yet to have one of my worlds attacked. Good luck no matter what you do. |

If your capable of getting to rank 19 with a week left of newbie prot, you should be more then smart enough to handle pvp |

Dont forget what I said about soldier outposts. They really help if you are getting invaded. They add 90 defense if you are getting invaded. Just in case you have a common question, invasion defense does not show up as a stat. |

Where do I get political favor for the soldier outpost? Someone mentioned that we need political favor to build that. I'm trying to build up my credits. I have nowhere near enough credits to colonize, let alone invade. How much does it cost to invade my 6th planet? Also, does it cost credits upon successful invasion or does it cost credits every time I invade? Just asking since I just scanned and found an Average Icy planet with Extremely Rich Artifacts and Extremely Abundant research, so trying to decide whether to colonize that or try to invade the 3X Mega Rich Terran planet. The guy's only rank 13 so dunno if he's out of newbie protection already or not as I can't tell right now. |

you need to do a mission called dangerous rescue where there is a chance every time you click the button to get one political favor and 100% chance to get 2 on completion. It costs 5 to get soldier outpost. The mission has 15 parts. EDIT: just checked and it costs 125000 creds to colonize 6th planet. I have no idea bout invasion cost, last time I invaded was weeks ago and I dont have enough energy atm to check. |
