Post subject:  Planets that are invaded or abandoned
If t gets taken or abandoned does the next planet to be colonized go back 1 planet in terms of credits \

For example the 7th planet cost 1xx.xxx to colonize .

So if you lose 1 . It will then be your 6th, Will it still cost 1xx.xxx credits or go down in price to colonize

I hope this makes sense..

yes it will. the price of planet invasion is a formula
n = number of planets currently colonized
x = n - 1
p(x) = (x^3 + 3x^2 + 3x + 1) * 1000
or quite simply put: n^3 * 1000

the formula is correct for COLONIZE

e.g. for me atm: 18 planets occupied = 18^3 * 1000 = 5832000
which is exactly what the game says it will cost

an invasion attempt with 18 planets occupied would have cost me in excess of 15'000'000 CR
The exact figure escapes me, but was at that benchmark.

Would help, if others could provide their figures, so the formula for the invasion cost can be worked out as well.

Invasion cost is 2x colonization cost.
