So I want to get my combat rep up...

Post subject:  So I want to get my combat rep up...
But is the only way to do this to maul MUCH lower players spawning in the battle tab?

I only ever see -50 to -70 in the battle tab and NEVER get disabled by any one less than +100 of me got close to +200 once.

Are these relatively fair fights and I just uber suck offensively be am better than good defensively? Is there something I am doing wrong or is it that my current "Balanced" combat rep is giving these enemy ranges?

Just trying to figure out how I can fight some other players without being a bully :P

First of all, Bully is such an over used term in this game and on the forum. A Bully is what the loser calls the winner. But to answer your question about trying to find more "fair" or "honorable" fights, you need to increase your scanning. Your battle tab reflects ships lower rank than you partly as a design by the game developer, but mostly because your ship can't see better equipped fighters. If you really want to fight more people higher ranked than you, add scan and you will find them.

also, find a better legion. you only find players that are of a similar rank or strength and legion size as you. if you want easy targets, leave your legion. if you want hard targets, join a good legion with the player average rank being much higher than you.

Well legion isn't even close on any of em, all 50-52 members to our 15.

Could be ship class most are -2 to equal.

As to the bully thing, if a UFC fighter punched a kinder gardener in the head, that UFC fighter wouldn't be a winner, he'd be a bully, so to say a bully is what a loser called a winner isn't accurate. However if you're attacked once that isn't bullying however being targeted over and over is.

As for the getting scanning up in order to get better fights I have to make my ship less effective in said fights? I'll give it a shot but it doesn't sound too good.

If the kindergardner stole the UFC fighter's car and took it on a joy ride, then the fighter punched him in the head, he wouldn't be a bully.

That's either the worlds smallest UFC fighter or there were more than one Kinder Gardener, since how else would they reach the pedals?

Getting combat rep up is easy. Farming players off battle tabs at ranks 75-125 is quite easy, just have decent attack, Defence and Hull. And lots of energy, and just start killing everybody of the Battletabs. at high ranks, people have traps and it becomes very difficult to farm players. personally i have 1300 kills.

And adressing the issue of kiling low rankers, if you can see them on your battle tab, then kill them, don't open up a tab and farm them everyday, that would be bullying. No need for excessive force.
