I was looking at the energy investment of the bases, and more importantly the XP payout.

I know its about 1.1 to 1 return ratio (100 energy for 110XP) and noticing its very weak return for energy invested, but if my maths mind is correct on "round up round down" figures, if you invest 15 energy per time, youll end up with the most XP out of it pound for pound ... am i thinking this right?!

eg

15 energy gives 17XP
150 energy gives 165XP (which would be 170XP if done in increments)

whereas 14 would give 15XP
and 16 would give 18XP (+2XP yes but 15 would do the same and ultimately you'd get more 15's in)

are you human? it may explain you getting 1.1xp/nrg instead of 1xp/nrg...

i'm not human and our lvl 6 base gives 1 xp / energy
edit: actually, it was giving 1xp/nrg at lvl 5.... i haven't finished 1st dimensional logistics yet, not sure what lvl 6 base gives... it'll suck if it's below 1

No im Vygoid,, my base is however Level 4.

You mean to say even the weak 1.1 return falls to equal measure of 1 to 1?

The Base gives less experience at higher levels.

yeah, it was 1.0 at base level 5
a chart would be nice... do you remember what it was for levels 1, 2, and 3?

I've updated as much of the Base Construction and Upgrade Costs Chart as I could, however I don't know the requirements beyond our Level 3 Base, and I'm not certain of the XP:Energy ratio, though I'll calculate it the next time I rank up.

The initial base building was 2.0 (when you have no base and are creating level 1). Upgrading level 1 gives 1.8. Those are the numbers I remember anyway.

Then the only logical pattern is:
lvl0 = 2
lvl1 = 1.8
lvl2 = 1.6
lvl3 = 1.4
lvl4 = 1.2
lvl5 = 1

Basically, -0.2 per level.

That isn't correct because the ones we've already confirmed don't match up with that pattern.

As you can see here, Construction pays 2, Level 1 Base pays 1.8, but Level 2 pays 1.5 not 1.6, meanwhile Level 3 pays 1.3, Level 4 pays 1.1, and Level 5 pays 1 even.

We still don't know what a Level 6 Base pays, nor a Level 7; meanwhile, we're also missing the requirements to reach Levels 5 and 6.

once we get the amounts needed to go from 4 to 5, i can fill in the amounts needed for 5 to 6, as i have my legion's cumulative contributions to reach level 6 in a spreadsheet from when my legion upgraded recently

Already got that, found an old Dysonian picture when they hit level 5.

Just worked out from our base:

From lvl4 to lvl5 is 400,000 energy, 175,000 EM and 5000 CTP

gee.... i gotta stop taking bathroom breaks...

...well... i've entered xp per energy for level 6 base...


only thing left on that chart now is xp per energy for a lvl 7 base, which won't be known until Dan adds in Hyper Logistics

As you can see here, there are also three details involving Special Base Modules we still need to know as well.
