You get research points and blue badges. Blue badges can be traded in for ship modules and planet structures. |

you can also steal planet locations if youre good enough. ive stolen maybe 20 planet locations, and its definitly fun when you do. 90% of the time they are awful, either being barren or sparse or gas or tiny, but its still fun to know you are that superior to the other player.
