Ok, I figured I was doing low PvP damage cause people were spending ranks on defense instead of decks but now I just tried to hit a low level NPC and it was bad!! For this fight, I had 194 attack at rank 17 against a level 5 trash NPC with only 5 defense. I did *13* damage! I'm seeing this kind of number (13-17 range) in a lot of PvP fights too. SOMETIMES I do lots of damage (30s) but way more often I just do this. What's the deal? Oh and 94 deck space so my max dmg should be like 47 right??

That's the max they can do to you; the max you can do to them is determined by their deck space. NPCs have a damage cap equal to 2.5 times their rank, so you were actually doing maximum damage to that NPC.

Oh ok. Yeah hit level 17 for 43 so I see. Guess players just pumping lots of rank into defense or they have the same limitation? I can't hit them for more than their dmg cap?

Yeah, their damage cap is half their decks just like yours, so they may not be putting as many points into decks.
