Tried chattin' with another ship flyin' around, and not only did my text not appear, apparently there doesn't seem to be a "Com wall post area", at least there doesn't appear to be any kind of com traffic between common players.

Is this so, or is the icon to access this hidden somewhere?

I doubt that. Because anybody searching for my messages won't find jack.

There is no "Comm area".

You can find your com by going to ship tab, then clicking ship stats, then click com tab, there you will find where people (if any) have posted messages to you.

You can find your enemies Com after you have targeted them once again there is a com tab

There are no messages cuase there is no-one talking to you or no-one talking to them.
You must be new to game , no wonder you're asking all these questions.

All messages are public, it's like a facebook wall and people can post stuff on it. Used for communication with foreign players outside you're legion.

It takes 5 energy to post a message, that's why people don't exactly share there life stories to each other on the comm.
