No one has enough deck space unless you pay for it (Use Galaxy Points to buy ship-bots in huge amounts) You are supposed to configure your ship according to the current situation, installing/uninstalling new modules, etc Just keep on increasing your decks... |

Truth is you never have enough deck space. I hope to reach a point when I can have a good amount of everything on. But otherwise I need to pick what I have on. |

Based on what I found in a Wiki, I have approximated that to fill your ship the level 8 items of every type and equip them, you will need over 1500 decks. That means you need rank 300 if you put all your points on decks or rank 375 if you follow the suggested rule of 4 points on decks, 1 point on cargo. The leaders are still pretty far from that level and I bet better items will be available by the time a fair number of players do. So, installing/uninstalling is necessary. |

Wiki doesn't have the Biggest/Most advanced modules 2. There are other ways to get decks (artifacts/mission rewards/daily reward) 3. No one would be in the right mind to install the maximum of everything, the upkeep would kill you (especially bringing 5 sensors into battle) Maximum modules amount (spoiler) 8 weapons + specials (NPC drops/ mission) 5 shields + recharges (NPC drops) 4 Dampener, 4 thrusters 5 Hull 4 relays, 3 reactors 2 cloak/2 jammers + 5 sensors |

rather then defining you specialization by what you usually have equipped like in most games. It is defined by how you've spent your research, and thusly how you can equip your ship when the time calls of it. |

Good points, Barracuda. I am very low rank so I still have a lot to learn. Based on your experience, how many decks would be needed to equip the L8 items that are reasonable to have considering the upkeep and the fact that you do not equip everything at the same time? |

Buying Ship-bots is a waste of Galaxy Points unless you seriously just need 2 decks ASAP to accomplish something important in the game, which would be rare or perhaps until after you are very high level. That is because at 24 GP for 2 decks it equals 1 deck for every 12 GP Spent, or 60 GP for 5 Decks. Energy refills only cost 10 GP however, and you can usually level up with 2-3 energy refills, allowing you to get 5 decks (and possibly new missions) for only 20 to 30 GP Buying energy refills also nets you other benefits such as extra $$$ research, or objects from Missions and raids performed. So all-around the Decks Artifact is pretty much not worth your GP, it may be frustrating but buying them is basically throwing your money away. Just my two cents. |
