I am a konqul and im thinking about becoming a Genetarr but i have been thinking that there racial trait is not very good? There ships look awsome in my opinion but im not sure weather its worth it? Since i feel that this Genetarr race looks a little under powered. Drannik have a 40% bonus against npcs while genetarr can only half the npcs attack? I think some races are seriously under powered and some are to over powered?

No actual its not that underpowered, ability is -50% Attk for 1 hour but the recharge time is 30 Minutes. I just sighned the Genetarr Pact as well. Its useful on Uncommon or Bosses/Elites. Rares and Ex Rares. It replaces Dark Void Foci and I think can be used on NPC's that cant have Dark Void Foci used on them. Genetarr have more Tactical Advantages than straight up bonuses.

Edit: Genetarr is more for the team than for yourself as Drannik would only help a legion when its an elite, and even then It helps you more than the legion. Genetarr is more for Team Player while Drannik CAN be a Team Player but not by much.

The Genetarr is another selfless race to go, as in it helps the legion out more than yourself. If your legion gets alot of elites/bosses then this is a good race to choose because it WILL help your whole legion take less damage from them. Less damage = less repairs = less credits/repairs nanos used

The Genetarr is perfect for legions who deal with super tough NPCs like Silthion Hives, Graxis Prisons, Hypergrids, etc. A point to bring up is the fact that the cooldown is 30 minutes, so it's always going to ready to use again as soon as it's expired, or usable on two NPCs at once. Unlike other artifacts it can be used on the strongest bosses. (Not sure if the Dark Void Foci works on any NPC or not. Lots of bosses are too powerful for some nerfs to work on) Not to mention unlike artis, it's permanent as long as you are that race. I was Genetarr for a while, but changed after I decided I needed something other than NPC nerfing. I would become one, it's a pretty nice race.

I think it could be useful if you fight a lot of NPCs and are in a lower level Legion, but at higher levels there are better races.

Seriously, I personally love being Genetarr. It's a lot of fun, makes bosses a lot easier and helps the legion more than anything. Also, when there is no boss spawned, it just makes an awesome PVE'ing race.

Is it me, or does the ship look like a fish?



Level 306 and it helps a lot against the higher lvl bosses, wish we could use our ability on the bases though.

I didn't say it wasn't useful, just that there are better. I could help my Legion by being Genetarr and lowering the bosses' Attack, but instead I help by being Drannik and doing at least 20% on all of them. A few days ago we had 3 Dark Command Nexuses posted and I did 160% damage between the three of them, and another 46% on a Hypergrid, which probably helped considerably more than just lowering the Attack.

Actually no... It may help kill it faster but Genetarr lets everyone kill it faster.

So would I be right in assuming that if one legion member was Drannik and another Genetar NPCs would be far less effective.

So ideally, out toughest member would be Gentarr, constantly reducing NPCs streangth

Then the top generalls all Drannik bosses should go down in seconds, right?

Well Drannik will be able to bring down the boss or elite faster. The genetarr will reduce the attack so everyone Doesnt have to waste repair drones or credits on repairs.
