I have a planet picked out for the hyper terraformer. I currently have 2/10 for the terra project done. The planet is under enemy control, but it is an unactive lowranker. My question is should I take it now, or should I wait?

you might as well take it now, since the planet probably sucks no one will take it from you before you hyperterraform it, and you can still make some resources off of it while you wait....no need to flux it either since hyperterraformed planets are now invincible,

Or you can just colonize the crappiest unoccupied planet on your scan list. There's no reason to pay the invasion cost (which is double the colonization cost) for a garbage planet that you're going to HTF...

i agree but whats stopping people doing that now??? mission planets are immune to attacks so it dosnt matter how many people have scanned it

i would use it on your crappiest Pre-colonised planet. assuming you have still have some from early ranks... *curses and swears at my tine toxic!!

only reason to use it on a planet currently occupied is to REALLY tick off that person.... ESPECIALLY if it was a halfway decent planet (though that'd be wasteful)

it's more annoying than fluxing it, because (unless dan added auto-fluxing code) they'll have to send Dan a msg asking him to remove it from their list...
