I had a planet recently fluxed from my list. The guy that took it said it was mine and one that I had occupied I saw no message saying planet is under attack just that it had been fluxed. Is it possible that he fluxed it then took it whilst it was off my scan list?

That is not possible. The flux won't even show up in the list of artifacts when you are clicking the artifact list from an enemy planet.
You lost the planet days before he fluxed it and just never noticed.

A crit hack says you steal the location of their planet. This does not mean a planet you own. It means a planet you have in your list.
It's possible they stole a planet that they saw was enemy occupied and they assumed it was yours. They then fluxed that planet which removed it from your list of scanned planets.
Other options. They are lying to you.

Its just as likely that it is not your planet but one that you had in your database but did not own. thus you didn't get the message about losing it as you didn't lose it only the planet location when he fluxed

Oh well it's not like I'm missing out on much. Still get plenty of research, mining and artefacts.

Heh, HE crit failed hack, and now HIS planet is now in your database. Knowing this, HE immediately probed all his best planet, and found out the one got counterhacked, and fluxed it.
It was NOT YOURS to begin with. The planet was HIS.
No wonder there is no notification. He lied to you saying it was your planet. It was originally HIS, and you happened to counterhacked it, the he fluxed it.

Sorry asquall you got it all wrong. I hacked him and critically failed revealing my planet to him. Thus allowing him to attack and flux or even just flux a random planet from my data base.

Oh well, I'm assuming it was him crit failed hacking into your computer, because the message you post.
Maybe, the planet he counterhacked is originally his all the time and you already have it on your scan? After the counterhack, he realized it was in your scan, then quickly flux it. I don't think you can flux a planet without owning it first (hence if it was yours, he must attack and invade it)

I think they would have a fair idea of what went on. Anyone else who wants to tell them that Yllib was the one who crit hacked the planet might want to read the message again.

This is actually read like this on the newsfeed, Deigobene messed it up. Top is more recent @19 hours, 58 mins ago time: 16 mins after the crit hack on Yllib's feed:One of your scanned planets is no longer visible. Its owner has used a device to remove it from your database @19 hours, 54 mins ago time: 12 mins earlier than this stated time on Opposing player's shiplogFrom Yllib Yllib failed to hack into your ship computer. You counterhack and steal the location of their planet The reason it said Yllib Yllib in the original post is because these are normally on two separate lines of the shiplog, but you cannot enter more than one line at a time in a ship comm. If you copy/paste several lines of text, it will string it all together as one line. Thus, Yllib Yllib becomes Yllib Yllib As stated before, it seems like he invaded an enemy planet he believed was yours and fluxed it. You removed the opposing players ign, which is what led to some confusion of what was happening: Quote: 19 hours, 54 mins ago From: <--- Their ign should be here but it was removed before posting in the thread Message Posted on your Comm: 12 mins ago From Yllib Yllib failed to hack into your ship computer.
