 best race and profession

It's not up to date on all of them; I guess someone with all of them unlocked can check when they change, since you can get to second screen (profession) and go back to race select, then post the info so it gets into wiki. I don't think Dan would stack anything twice, so Lazuli is not going to have fixer for example. Beyond that who knows.

OK; I guess eventually the wiki will have them all filled out. That's pretty neat then, 80% hull increase, and then nanites... insane.

sillixx has done me well. the larger body lets me gear up my wepons or scaning with out me having to be without in other areas. if you are less than 20% i can hack you or attack you based on the ship set up. yeah i might spend more on wear and tear buti have some of the best pvpv rankings in my legion.

I started out as a sillix and then when i completed the mssion chain I changed with the Drannik. I go for the explorer profession. since I can scan more planets in this kind of profession and with almost all scanning module installed I get lots of critical hits with NPC. its not 100% but more like 70% critical hits when im hunting NPC.

I dont usually pay for repair since i have lots of decks (Collossal Star Destroyer at 314 from rescued prisoners and ship bots) and I was able to equip most of the technology that I have already research my attack is respectable for my level and defence is also good. Most of the time I only need to recharge my shields and then before I can recharge my shields again I rank up so Hunting down NPC is not that expensive for me credit wise. I do however pay a lot of maintenance. 2.6 billion per day on my ship parts. my daily credit income is about 6-7 billion per day. (i do have lots of toxic planets Under my control)

I did invest on my planets early on the game. I bought the artifacts needed for the exotic and dyson planets. my investment paid off because I was able to harvest about 2-3 rescued prisoners per day. I have about 4k crew members and 3050 deck space.

So thats why I have Drannik Explorer.

As far as choosing a race to level quickly goes, it's a double edged sword. Research can lag behind and without the tech you'll be a high lvl with a weak ship.

im thinking about going vygiod but i wanted to find out...does the research boost apply to scientist on ur ship,planets or both...i had one b4 and it didnt seem like it did anything for planets research...tho i deff noticed it on the ship side

I chose Konqul Fixer because of PVP and NPC farming plus able to invade difficult rare planets more successfully.. I'm considered the highest attack ship in the galaxy right now with 15.7 k attack fully buffed against players.. I chose Konqul for roleplay purpose as aggressive race because I'm aggressive player so it fits well. Fixer helps to increase the survivability in PVP.. I have almost 5k tactical officers so Konqul works well with that specific design..

I started out as Konqul Spy because of specializing in hack and PVP but later changed to fixer because hack is easy even with no spy class and I needed to increase my HP because I am in kill list for so long forcing players to use artifacts on me to kill me. I want to be tough to take down.. During the first rebellion war, I changed temporary to Lazuli fixer to achieve 26k hp buffed to survive longer against gang rape from rebels.. But since two major wars are done, I quickly switched back to Konqul that I love cuz I have Konqul in my blood and I REALLY love to continue killing players even with K virus effect on me. With K virus, I still enjoy 1,500 attack against similar rank of enemies that tend to have 2k to 5k defense only.. Konqul race allows me to kill players off with K virus effect on without any real problem. That's a big advantage right there..

i started as a human cuase all the other aliens looked and ugly , a human miner, i changed to inergon explorer (rank 25 ?)with a sphere of new era thing and for a while i liked being it cuase of energy bonus but there ship looked too brittle and technology was sorta bad and so i switched again at rank 40 to vygoid builders. extra tech saving money, i chucked all my research into energy so i have lotsa energy and would compensate for the inergon energy bonus, also to rank up quickly to get rank points, my ship was very crowded, i didnt have space to put weapons and energy modules on at the same time, but now, due to high energy tech ( im rank 107 isomorph tech) i was able rank up very quickly and get all the rank points i needed to make my ship bigger. can FINALLY install some weapons with max hull and max energy ! yay!

Many people say that ranking up quickly tips you ship tech out of balance and your ship becomes somewhat weaker in battle , my ship tech is WAYY outta balance cuase energy tech is a dozen steps ahead of all other branches, but that doesnt really matter i can still disable rank 130s with intermediate diifficulty.

if anyone is new to this game, trade your time manips, repair drones and shield restorers for Halc/K traps with people that are rank 300+ ( a few hundred kurenite would work too , youll need it ). many lower rankers underestimate the value of time manips and are usally willing to give it away for free~

ill probably change to taltherian builder , urbanize planets and then change to drannik builder very later on when technology isnt very important

I started out as a Sillixx Merchant because that's what most people recommended. But, I wasn't happy with that (leveling was too slow), so I switched to Inergon Explorer when I was around rank 60 and started dumping rank points into engineers. I zoomed through the ranks after that.

I tried Drannik for a while. It helped me a lot in farming uncommon and rare npcs (back in the good old days before the flamehawks were introduced) but since I already had so many engineers it slowed down how fast I could level up. So, I switched back to Inergon.

Then, the galactic wars started so I became a Lazuli Fixer so I could last longer against the gang rape attackers. I also started dumping rank points into decks so I could keep more modules installed at a time.

After the fighting became old, I switched back to Inergon explorer. But, when I had too many unused planet slots open because I was leveling too fast, I switched to Vygold Excavator which is the race and profession I still am atm.

The next and probably last change I make will be to a Konquil Excavator. I'll also probably start dumping rank points into tactical officers. The reason being that everyone can increase hull, shield and defense through artifact draws but not their attack. And you can never have too high an artifact production (Even though I might have the highest artifact production in game, I'd still like to have more)

I tried to analyze right race was best for the "endgame". There are 3 things you can do:

1) Do the purger mission as long as you can buy exotic from people. Gets old quickly.
2) Grind NPCs for planet boosting items. Slightly more engaging.
3) PvP. Mostly for entertainment and/or revenge when you get bored of the other stuff. After badge modules, not much direct game value in it.

So, you might do one or all of these. The race you want depends on that.

1) Inergon in general I'd recommend for leveraging engineers late game. It helps with all the above tasks anyway, but you can do specifically 10% more purger mission completions.
2) Drannik specifically if you are just doing NPCs. If your weapons are pretty matched with the NPC defense, you won't get 40% more damage, but as their rank increases (matched NPC) you'll get more benefit out of it, esp. if combined with Tac Officers. I still prefer Inergon for NPC hunting due to 10% more attacks when unloading a full bar.
3) PvP. Lazuli gives you endurance in combat. Konqul gives you attack bonus against players.

Profession: Builder. Always. 4-5B upkeep/day saved. If you're not going high tech to where that's an issue, then Excavator.
