It strengthens a legion community, and i would hope spam disables would discourage you from hacking that player again.

I would like to think that a hack and a retaliation would stay between the two players if it was one hack. The point of the one hack code would be to only hack that person once and then leave him be for as long as you can remember hacking them. This would be the case even before the retaliation starts.

I've already said this, but if I were a hacker and somebody kept disabling me I'd just keep hacking them, tit for tit.

Actually I do have to agree with your first part to the extent of keeping between the two of you. I'll admit if you attack me, in any way, i'm coming after you with a vengance. But assuming you have a comperable ship and don't massively out rank me, if you do manage to repel me and come out on top then hey, kudos to you for having the better ship and/or being the better fighter.

Interesting... given the ratio for criticals is about 2-4% and you stated you have done 300 hacks.. that's only 12 planets you have scanned then?

Ya, that was me that said I had three hundred hacks not KJ. Im at 500 hacks now and have only gotten 7 planets from hacks

Hacking Code is, You hack your open to attack....End of code. Anything else is babysitting, War is Hell as well it should be. No marcus of queensbury rules please, just have a conscience.

There is NO POINT to be made for attacking over and over again. The only thing I "get" when someone comes after over and over again is that the person is immature. Its like Kim Jong-il being crazy and stupid so people are wary of him, and then he thinks HE's a Badass because everyone is "scared" when in reality he is just stupid and crazy. Unless its a full on pvp fight going after someone over and over again is dumb. What is a hack to people? Nothing. Its dumbs and a waste of everyones time to retaliate more than you have to.

The worst part is I can tell when its someone that thinks they need to prove a point by coming after me over and over again. Grow up people. its a numbers game, thats all it is. Nothing personal. No "lessons" are being taught here. See: My Cloak > Your scan; You get hacked. Your Level and guns > My level and guns; I get disabled. Math. Logic. What do you prove by doing anything else?

My annoyance is not with having to spend money on repairing, my annoyance is with stupid people that are reactionary.


I agree you do something to me.. i do something to you. Ok. Especially if a higher level attacks a lower level player and requests a single legion member to avenge the original attacker. I am glad to read that I am not the only one that finds it unnecessary to avenge someone that just returned fire ONCE. If you hack me and are lower than I am, I do nothing. If you hack me and are higher, I disable or something ONCE. One for one. Even If five of you attack me, I attack five back or the like. If a lower level player attacks me, I usually do little to them. I certainly don't alert my legion when I made first attack or first hack and received "a" disable or like in return. I also find it silly. I am having fun being amused at the moment!

Such a tough question. I guess I have been using color for about 14 years.. online, that is. I am thinking I must like it therefore I use it. I have never been told it annoyed anyone before this moment.

I use it to change topics, quote sources, quote really stupid or smart things, and more. Where I have been online before now, it was normal. WE even were so annoying we used Different fonts. Imagine that!

its been years since i chatted in a room, so on a white background color is fine, on black its annoying.

mmm okay.. My background on reading your posts is always grayish... I would find white very hard to read. From where I sit, your fonts look black...on gray.

NO WONDER! If you all are seeing blue on black.. I will definitely type in THIS color.. which to me appears black... I apologize and understand now how it is a pain to read.

For all of your posts complaining about retaliation over hacking and how much it annoys you. Is it possible you might understand why getting hacked is just as annoying...... And for the response of its just a numbers game. You are right on the money, rather than having to go look for a target for exp and and a kill statistic you make it an easy decision. When I get hacked I attack and raid that person until i can no longer find them. That person is not annoying to me, just convenient. If they decide to continue to hack me well so much the better I am working on my raiding statistic. You sound like a person who would be upset if you steal something and gave some of the loot back, but keep just a little for yourself, and cant understand why your victim is upset. This is a PVP game not Farmvile. Your actions dictate the results.
