The game seems to have entered a new level of disgusting behavior. Steve ******* defriended me after I put a legion alert on a planet I needed help with and then stole it.

Its fluxed now so I can't get it back but what would you do?

That's odd. Once someone unfriends you, all your shares/alerts disappears. Is there a loophole in the sharing mechanism or perhaps the 'thief' already scanned the planet prior to the share?

He said he had been eying the planet for weeks, evidently he had scanned it before and wasn't big enough to take it. Waited until I had invaded it, hit it with a null artifact so nothing could protect it and then stole it from me. I wasn't online when all this happened but from the logs I am guessing.

So you're saying that he waited to take it after you took it from someone else? That's cold.

you forgot to pinpoint the fact you had that planet at 11 population for several hours and immunity +1 +virus on... That helps big deal anyone to be tempted into invading your planet.

So I see 2 possible failure in your strategy on this planet:

- first one: when colonising a planet, well flux probe it to know if other people scanned it and flux it when it's an invasion.
- second one: it is possible you used a +1 immunity artifact on your planet when it was under virus and at 11 population ... Forgetting to use cloning pods before immunising the planet to artifact sure let your planets very vulnerable even if you were guarding it.

So my point is that it's sad someone defriended you so he could take a planet, but at the same time, I believe you didn't take all precautions to ensure the safety of that planet.

I didn't use any artifacts on it. I was planning to flux it but he hit it before I had one.

it is sad, but at the same time, one planet wont make or break your game. this was a bit rude but at the end of the day its just a game.

I agree, its just that was the first time I had ever heard of it actually happening. I know people have joked about it but to actually do it is pretty slimy.

Sounds like this guy is just a back-stabber and you should post his name so no-one else befriends him for him to do this again. He probably has no real friend in the real world. Just hack and raid him all the time.

I did in my first post, his name is Steve ******. I am hacking and raiding him as much as possible but he will fall off my log soon.

I have built up a decent enough legion now with real friends and co workers, that I will be deleting those that I do not actually know so this type of thing never happens. If you treat your legion correctly, this game can be awesome and you can really advance yourself and them. When young people in my legion find a great rare planet they cannot defend and will be swiped from them, they notify me and I try to colonize it when I get another 4 levels. I then get great stats in all 3 categories. In exchange I am gifting them and sharing with them artifacts that they would be unlikely to get. Once they get strong enough, I remove any obstacles to their invasion and they get their planet back. (It is to the point now that when I give a planet back, there is another waiting for me and virtually all of my planets are rare ones at this point.) This system does not work if you have legion members stealing planets.

@ Kaos Sorry I read over it too quickly and didn't notice his name. My bad. If I ever run across him I'll enjoy attacking him for that kind of move. I really hate back stabbers.

I am in an alliance of one at the moment, therefore this cannot happen to me and if I add anyone it will be friends of mine and we don't work that way. You never STEAL from a friends or fellow alliance member NO MATTER WHAT!

Steve believe whatever you like. I told Bender and a few other people that I had found it and a bunch of others in a scanning blitz. This was before you even alerted anyone. I made a big deal out of it because it was the first time my scanning percentage got over 14% in more than a month.

You were to weak to take the planet, you told me after I invaded that you had tried and failed. You waited until I did warped us out of there and took it.

You said you wanted the planet for research and I needed it for mining so I offered you a planet bigger in size with the same research. Rather than take that you decided to defriend me and steal it back.

Our levels have nothing to do with you stealing the planet. You could have stolen it from someone littler that you pretended to be allies with just as easily. What did you think was going to happen? That I was going to let you get away with it and not pound you?
