Tachyon Cylinder & Subspace Seeker

Kind of a noob question I guess but I dont want to waste either item by trying it myself as I really do need new planets with good resources.
Can you use a Tachyon Cylinder (temporarily increases scan by 50) and a Subspace Seeker (temporarily increases scan by 175) at the same time, ergo increasing your scan by 225 temporarily?
Or does one override the other? From what Ive seen so far in this game items seem to be multiplicative but as I said before - I can't afford to waste either at this point in the game I am behind on planets.

Yes, you can stack them, along with Stryll Seekers and Continuum Beacons (use the Cylinder and Seeker before those, though, for maximum effect).

make sure you add the two percentage buffs AFTER the other two.... the order affects the efficiency of the effect... if the percentages are first, then the flat amounts don't get buffed... if the percentages are after the flat amounts, the flat amounts get buffed

They are good to use - and I do use them - but the only thing is once you start using them you will become dependant upon them. Be aware of that, as each new level of scanner research you do, you will find you are still under 'good scanning' because the last time you used the tachyon/subspace etc. So you have to use them again and again to keep ahead of yourself....
the good thing though is that as you rank higher, and you get more artifact planets you will get more and more of them in the artifact draw
