Base Raids
Bases that are level 4 and higher can now be raided for extra bonuses after they are disabled. Raiding bases works differently than raiding ships, however:

* Each ship that has dealt damage to the base can attempt 1 raid on the base.
* The chance of a successful raid is based on the amount of damage dealt to the base.
* Raiders (and those with other % bonuses to raiding) will have their success chance increased proportionally.

Successful raiders will receive a ‘Base Crate’, a new type of artifact that contains random rewards. Higher level bases will reward much better crates, some carrying unique rewards.

Unlike ship raids, bases do not lose anything for being raided - it is merely a reward given to ships for its defeat.

Crates can be re-itemized at later intervals to keep things fresh. Good luck!

I hope the reward to kill a certain bsse is a good reward. If it is... my ships guns will be blazing everyday

should all the legions w/ lvl 6 bases band together and try to take out the Dysonian base?

78% chance, 5 CTP.... Not a very impressive "incentive" as far as I'm concerned...

yea i must say, for the energy and time consumption that any decent level 4+ base takes 20 ctp can be farmed far easier hitting weak elites or even rogue techs. I really hope Dan modifies the reward to be either far more CTP like 100 or so or just something different and unique to base combat like introducing different grades of base debuffs/buffs

Post subject:  Re: Base Raids

he said higher level bases give better rewards, presumably level 4s give CTP and maybe something else, and level 5's give out something much better than 5-20CTP(but that's yet to be determined)

and level 7's give out nukes d:

hahaha I'm kidding so don't get your hopes up then get mad at me d:

Post subject:  Re: Base Raids

remember bases are the high end thing to fight.

Now add this scaling reward for higher end bases.

Means only maby 3 legions can deal out enough damage to take on lvl bases and get something that even at the smallest feels worth the time.

It also means those that want to be part of base combat need to start upping there attack. Which means more people doing PvP to help out at least with base attacks.

No matter how it seems worth it the idea for the extra to help make up for it it there. The thrill that you can get something good.

Post subject:  Re: Base Raids

red badge hunting over like 250 sucks with the traps up the butt, if he wants to see more pvp, id like to see null fuses increase appearance rate almost everyone on my scanners has traps and then u spend easily 10 badges just to find a base that is L4 plus and to work on the Mk3s its just hard to get everything sorted if null fuses are increased ya i can see everyone #$&*@ theres no point to traps but it is by far a lot harder to pvp heavy in late game and he basically wants us to go deeper into the game with a clear focus on pvp

The question I have and seems to be fair is that the ctp is the common stuff what is the uncommon or even rare?

Post subject:  Re: Base Raids

if we can try to help scanning by allowing bases to set scanning bracket like lets say we want to hit level 4s or 5s so we can say scan for us only level 4s or 5s we dont ahve to spend as much on reds. That way if you dont want to increase null fuses we have a way of not having to spend a weeks worth of PVP for 1 lock out.
