Post subject:  Re-Taking My Planet
so I'm preparing to re-take a planet that was stolen from me I've gotten the following and curious if there is anything else i should get....

E-Virus
Ion-Storm
Bio-Vaporizer
Cluster Missile
and I'm a Saboteur

it's defenses are high, I can kill the pop.
any other arti's that will kill some of the defense?

If there is any defense you'll want an orbital mass disruptor. You can probably buy a share on here or find it via NPC. You can also try recruiting a couple more sabs to help.

Urm, yeah, attack. :roll:

But you should always put a pop structure on your planets, so that people can't bio-vaporize then Sab without actually attacking.

but but... my gases can't have pop... what do i do for them?

Plasma them... although I think that they shouldn't be able to have pop either...

thanks for going off topic.

anyhow, invasion was a failure at 9%

planet had 11k defense, zero attack and 1100 pop.

E-Virus, Bio-Vaporizer, ion-storm, crimson cluster missel, mass disruptor + my ships buffs,

defense was down to under 10k

failed with a 9% chance

legion mate hit it with a Stryll Pathogen and also failed.

do you have all 4 exo-temporal translators (+60 invasion atk for each) and 2 atmospheric decimators (+7% invasion atk for each)

the only other thing you can do is get a bunch of sabs to drop the defense before you invade

and... i agree... i don't think plasma should be allowed to have pop either... it's charged gases... they'd die... (though it's been speculated that inergon might not)

Does say 10 invasion attack do more then 10 attack when invading?

Same question for planetary defenses....does 10 invasion def do more then 10 def?

no, they are both the same, just one works all the time, the other only during an invasion.

keep in mind your regular attack buffs (crimson obelisk, crimson amplifier, ancient crystal foci, and crux amplifier) affect your regular attack, but do not affect your additional invasion-only attack bonuses... so if you're looking for a trade-off between regular attack and invasion attack, go with the regular attack... but really, you'd want both if you're trying to invade a planet, to maximize your potential (and definitely the 2 atmospheric decimators because of the percentage increase it does is like an additional buff)

..oh.. and always remember to fully buff up before trying to invade a planet... those buffs are definitely worth it!!
