So, if I were to equip enough scanners to un-gray the Aeon Moon mission and do one mission attempt, would the mission stay un-grayed after I un-equip the scanners? |

Nope, you need to have the requisite scanning in order to be able to make any progress on the mission. |

Later mission after the initial one has no scan requirement |
