One of my planets was under attack so I fluxed it, but about an hour later it was attacked by 2 players. I used a flux probe and it said that 0 other ships have scanned the planet. That means no one else should be able to target the planet at all, right?
At no time was I hacked for the location, but somehow people were/are able to attack the planet after it was fluxed.
I wonder if the players left the planet link open so they could continue to attack the planet even after it was fluxed. Are there any "in range" checks made after the planet link is opened (e.g when attacking, using artifacts)?

if an alert went out for it you have to wait for it to expire. the link will remain open even though the planet has been fluxed.

But the link should be dead "That planet is no longer in your scanning range".

If it was alerted those that have the alert will have the time (about 24 hours) to try and take it.

I suggest that flux probes also say whether or not a report is on it.

this was brought up MANY times already. i would be ok with having the links disabled after flux, but only if the user of flux could not use the flux on any planets in "New" status. then when the flux moved the planet to another random location in the galaxy, its location will be secret to all...

I have experienced the problem of a fluxed planet being attacked too, obtained from an alert.
I have also seen planets on alert that are nolonger on my scan after a few minutes whilst others stay for a while. I assumed that those "nolonger on your scan" had been fluxed away.
Fluxing should wipe the alerts, if it doesn't already.

I think it should stay, the system is pretty balanced how it is, those that take the precautions can be given a chance against losing a planet hands down, while those that dont arnt rewarded. The other reason being is that many feel the Plent Flux is already too powerful, this would only make them complain more.
